My car photo doesn't match my car

Hitchhyke Admin Updated by Hitchhyke Admin

The car photo displayed in the app should match your Hitchhyke approved car. It’s important that passengers know what car to look for when they request a ride. The app displays a photo that matches the make, model, and year of your Hitchhyke approved car.

Note: Currently, we will always show a grey version of the driver's vehicle image. The actual color of the vehicle will be represented by a color swatch that appears beside the vehicle's image.

To view your car's photo:

  1. Open the app menu and tap 'My Vehicle.'

If Your Car Photo Is Wrong: If you notice the photo doesn't match your car, contact us via the 'Contact Us' form on our website or by tapping 'Support Request' in the app. Let us know what the issue is e.g. "My app shows a Honda but my car is a Toyota”), and we'll fix your profile.

Please Note: There may be instances where we are not able generate an image of your vehicle. In those scenarios, we will display a representative image of the vehicle's generic body type, e.g.

If you do get a representative image instead of an actual image of your vehicle, please let us know via the 'Contact Us' form on our website or by tapping 'Support Request' in the app, as we are actively working on resolving these issues.
