Hitchhyke’s Rating and Reporting System
Updated
by Hitchhyke Admin
At Hitchhyke, we believe in fostering a community that prioritizes respect, safety, and accountability. Our rating and reporting system is a critical part of this commitment. Both riders and drivers have the ability to rate each other and report any issues they encounter during a trip. Here's a detailed guide to the process:
Rating Your Driver
After completing a ride, passengers are required to rate their driver on the 'Trip Completed' screen within the app. Here's how it works:
- Rate Your Driver: Select a rating from 1 to 5 stars.
- Avoiding Unwanted Pairings: If you rate your driver 2 stars or lower, you won't be paired with them again.
Rating Your Passenger
Drivers also have the opportunity to rate passengers at the end of a trip. Here's what you need to know:
- Rate Your Passenger: You can let us know about any issues you had with your passenger when you rate them.
- Avoiding Unwanted Pairings: If you rate a passenger 2 stars or lower, you won't be paired with them again.
Reporting Issues
Separately from ratings, both riders and drivers can report issues in the app at the end of a trip. If something goes wrong or doesn't feel right, we encourage you to:
- Access the 'Report Issue' Option: This is available in the app's 'Trip Details' section after a ride.
- Provide Details: Describe the situation so we can understand what happened.
- Wait for Support: Our support team will review the issue and take appropriate action.
The rating and reporting system is more than just a feedback tool; it's an essential part of how we build and maintain a respectful and safe community. By actively participating in this system, riders and drivers help to ensure that Hitchhyke remains a reliable and pleasant experience for everyone. Your voice matters, and we thank you for helping us create a platform that prioritizes safety and respect. Stay connected, stay respectful, and stay safe with Hitchhyke!
